Introduction

Calm Beta 40 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat anxiety disorder. It calms the brain by decreasing abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate and blood pressure.

Calm Beta 40 mg Tablet should not be taken with food, especially protein-rich food. However, it is advisable to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as it has high habit-forming potential. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly as it may increase the seizure frequency. Stopping it suddenly may also cause nausea, anxiety, flu-like symptoms and muscle pain. Avoid the use of alcohol as it may affect efficacy.

Some common side effects of this medicine include dry mouth, slow heart rate, fatigue, depression, sleep disturbances, nightmares, cold extremities palpitations, memory impairment, depression and confusion. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. It may cause weight gain or weight loss depending from person to person. To prevent weight gain, you should eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. On the other hand, weight loss can be prevented by increasing food portions in your diet. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or depression as it may cause suicidal thoughts. Caution should be taken in impaired liver and kidney disease.

How to use Calm Beta Tablet

How Calm Beta Tablet works

Calm Beta 40 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and Propranolol. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have a problem since my childhood. Normally I am ok, but when get nervous to speak/face anybody, (like teacher, Interview Board members, stranger people) i stammers a lot, and inside my heart beat became very faster. I can't speak even a single word fluently. I have tried that time to stay calm & relux, but i dont know why it happens with me. That was not a great reason for me to became so hyper. But i was. And stammerd every word. Normally when I speak with my friends, family members, known people, i speak fluently, there is no lagging in my speaking. I don't know what type of problem is it? Is it for high anxiety? But why? Is there any solution for my problem?

Hi my name is PATIENT i was always a weak kid in school growing up my parents got seperated,leading my mother basically abandoning me after grade 5.I could never concentrate in school and i always wanted to be outdoors and my marks were terrible ! but anyway in the up-coming years i shifted a lot of shcools had a lot of failures and identety crises could never really calm down and figure what the problem is at the age of 20 i started working at an IT company which was really hard for me to get into but basically a job that i loved ! i was good at it too then i got sacked because i wasn't being able to concentrate again and i started losing interest.Well coming to the point i started seeing my first psycatrist in a year ago and he said i just had genralized anxiety disorder which i was given medication for but didn't solve my depression at all then i went to someone i was diagnosed with add but my main problem as if now is that i was on dazzle 20-30 mg for 15 days and it made me feel too drowzy and slow and blocked my thoughts now my doctor has percribed pregawave-m,S methiwave-400 and vilamid-20 but i haven't had them because I'm scared of the side effects my questions are :- 1. Can i consume alcahol with this drug combination ? 2. is there something more lighter ? 3.is ayurveda better ? 4.and does clinical depression wave off and how long do i take the meds ?

1. It is not advisable to take alcohol with medicines. 2. There is no heavy or light medicines. It's individual body's pharmacokinetic response. What suits one may not suit another. If you are having side effects, your psychiatrist can modify regimen accordingly. 3. A qualified Ayurvedacharya will know if he/ she can treat your condition. There are no comparative research studies between Ayurvedic and allopathic regimens to conclude if one is better than the other but as an Allopathy practitioner, I find satisfactory response with psychotropics. 4. Depression and anxiety are neurochemical responses to emetic and environmental factors. Treatment includes both medicines and psychotherapy for developing positive coping skills. Duration and response depend on a number of factors like history, symptom severity, duration and individual personality. Only time will tell if one is completely cured with or without medicines.
