Buflam MTS Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness.

Buflam MTS Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as back pain, toothache or pain in the ear and throat. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. Buflam MTS Tablet also reduces fever associated with any painful conditions. This medicine does not cause acidity due to the presence of Magnesium oxide in it.

Side effects of Buflam MTS Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Buflam MTS Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Buflam MTS Tablet should be taken with or after food.

How Buflam MTS Tablet works

Buflam MTS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Magnesium Oxide which relieve pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Magnesium Oxide is an inorganic salt which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Ibuprofen.

Buflam MTS Tablet is given to treat various painful conditions.
Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
Drink plenty of water while taking it.
Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking this medicine.
Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Buflam MTS Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE

Buflam MTS Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Available human data suggest that the drug does not pass into breast milk in clinically significant amounts and is unlikely to harm the infant.

Driving

UNSAFE

Buflam MTS Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Buflam MTS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Buflam MTS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function.

Liver

UNSAFE

Buflam MTS Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Buflam MTS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
