Chloramphenicol Topical(10 mg)


Chloramphenicol topical is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye surface (conjunctivitis) and eyelids.

How it works

Chloramphenicol belongs to the class of medications called as antibiotics. It works by inhibiting the protein synthesis and subsequently the growth of bacteria that are sensitive to it, thereby removing the infection of the eye surface and eyelids.

Hydrocortisone Topical(5 mg/1g)


Hydrocortisone topical is used to treat mild to moderate inflammatory skin disorders such as eczema (itchy, oozing, and crusting skin rash), contact dermatitis (itchy, oozing, and crusting skin rash after contact with certain plants, cosmetics, irritants like detergents), insect bite reactions or psoriasis (a skin condition associated with red, raised, itchy and scaly patches).

How it works

Hydrocortisone belongs to the class of medications called as corticosteroids. It works by preventing release of certain chemicals from the immune cells responsible for causing dryness, itching, oozing, and crusting of skin, thereby relieving the swelling and irritation associated with various skin disorders.

Do not apply on affected eye for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.
Seek advice from your doctor before using chloramphenicol ointment, if you wear contact lenses. 
Treatment should be continued for at least 48 hours after the eye appears normal. Inform your doctor if symptoms do not disappear after 48 hours of use.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to chloramphenicol or any of its ingredients.
Do not take this medicine if you have a personal or family history of blood dyscrasias (disease of the blood characterized by abnormal blood cells).
