How Bactoderm C Cream works
Bactoderm C 0.1%/3% Cream is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) which treat skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of the both bacteria and fungi.
