Benefits of Atrisol Eye Drop

Treatment of Uveitis
Uveitis is swelling and redness in the inside of the eyes. It also causes severe pain in the eye and a blurred vision. If left untreated, it can damage the eye tissue, leading to permanent vision loss. Atrisol Eye Drop relaxes the muscles in the eye and gives relief from these symptoms. Taking Atrisol Eye Drop prevents further tissue damage and improves the eye health. Make sure you visit any eye care specialist for proper treatment. Treatment is important and can prevent serious complications.

How to use Atrisol Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

How Atrisol Eye Drop works

Atrisol Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Atropine, Chlorbutol, and Prednisolone. Atropine is an anticholinergic medicine which works by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. Chlorbutol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

Quick tips

  • Atrisol Eye Drop is used for the treatment of uveitis.
  • You should wash your hands after using the eye drops and great care should be taken to avoid getting the product into the mouth.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • After applying Atrisol Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
  • If you are using any other eye drops or eye ointments, leave 5-10 minutes between applying each one.
  • Do not wear contact lenses until your eyes are completely healed.
  • Atrisol Eye Drop will cause blurred vision which may last for some time. Make sure you can see clearly again before you drive and before you use tools or machines.
