Atorva Asp 150 Capsule is used in the treatment of heart attack / stroke prevention.
Indigestion, Gastric bleeding, Stomach pain, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Headache, Muscle pain, Weakness, Nose bleed, Bleeding under the skin, Bruising, Black/dark colored stools, Increased liver enzymes, Decreased white blood cell count, Increased glucose level in blood.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atorva Asp 150 Capsule is to be taken with food.
Atorva Asp 150 Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Aspirin which prevent heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
