Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines or blood thinner used to reduce the formation of harmful blood clots in blood vessels. This helps to prevent a heart attack or stroke in people with heart disease.

Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor. Continue taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.

The most common side effects of this medicine include increased bleeding tendency, indigestion, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. It is not advised to take alcohol while taking Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet, as alcohol may increase your chance of stomach bleeding. As a result, you may vomit blood (which may be bright red blood or black/dark brown like coffee grounds) or you may have bloody or black tarry stools. Discuss with your doctor if you are not sure.

Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet is not recommended for people who are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Do not take Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet if you have or ever had severe liver disease, stomach ulcers, bleeding in the brain (stroke or a transient ischemic attack, also known as TIA), or if you have a bleeding disorder known as hemophilia (disease in which blood does not clot normally). Additionally, avoid taking Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet if you are trying to get pregnant, already pregnant, or breastfeeding.

This is because taking pain killers with Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet may increase your chances of developing a stomach ulcer and bleeding. Refrain from taking excessive alcohol with Astic 250mg/100mg Tablet as it can irritate your stomach and lead to a stomach ulcer as well.
