Product introduction

Arfen PM Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness.

Arfen PM Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondolytis. It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat if taken when the first sign of pain occurs. It also prevents acidity that might have occur due to the painkillers present in the medicine. Arfen PM Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours. Take it as prescribed to get the most benefit.

Side effects of Arfen PM Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Arfen PM Tablet

How Arfen PM Tablet works

Arfen PM Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Magnesium Trisilicate which relieve pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Ibuprofen.

  • Arfen PM Tablet is given to treat various painful conditions.
  • Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
  • Drink plenty of water while taking it.
  • Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking this medicine.
  • Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.
