AM-BETA 10 Tablet ER should be taken on an empty stomach. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. Never skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.

Some common side effects of this medicine include sedation, fatigue, slow heart rate, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), tiredness, blurred vision, dryness in mouth, difficulty in urination, constipation, nightmares, and cold extremities. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.

You should avoid alcohol while taking AM-BETA 10 Tablet ER, as it may worsen certain side effects. This medicine can also lead to weight gain, eat a healthy balanced diet, avoid snacking with high-calorie food, and exercise regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.

• AM-BETA 10 Tablet ER helps to ease the pain you feel during a migraine headache.
• This medicine can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
• Do not take any other pain killer without consulting your doctor.
• Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack:
  a) Have your meals at the same time every day.
  b) Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures.
  c) Avoid loud music and noisy places.
  d) Avoid chocolates,  cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking.
  f) Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
