Side Effects of Alpradon-F are Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Confusion, Memory impairement, Uncoordinated body movements, Drowsiness, Tiredness, Anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), Delayed ejaculation, Low sexual desire.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and fluoxetine which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Fluoxetine is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.
Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Alpradon-F 0.25mg/20mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
