Allercalcin Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Check the label before use. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine or have any known allergy from this medicine.

The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, and sleepiness. If these symptoms persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or suffering from any other disease.

This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after use of this medicine as it may cause dizziness and sleepiness and may affect your ability to drive.

Allercalcin Tablet helps relieve common cold symptoms, such as a blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps by loosening thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier.

Side effects of Allercalcin Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Allercalcin Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Allercalcin Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How Allercalcin Tablet works

Allercalcin Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Calcium Gluconate, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Vitamin C.

  • Allercalcin Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
  • Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
  • Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment or if you develop a fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat, severe dizziness or anxiety, severe headache, fever, or rash.
  • Along with taking Allercalcin Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
    1. Steam inhalation 
    2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
    3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
    4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
    5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcase, etc.
