How to use Allercalcin Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Allercalcin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Allercalcin Tablet works

Allercalcin Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Calcium Gluconate, Chlorpheniramine and Vitamin C. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Calcium Gluconate and Vitamin C provide essential nutrients.

Pregnancy

Lactation
Allercalcin Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Allercalcin Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Driving
Allercalcin Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Allercalcin Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Allercalcin Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Allercalcin Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
Allercalcin Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Allercalcin Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
