It is advised to take ALDACTIDE 25MG/25MG TABLET with food at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent levels of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember it. Never skip any doses and finish a full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

It may cause side effects like diarrhea, upset stomach, electrolyte imbalance, breast enlargement in males, and impotence as common side effects. If these or other side effects do not go away or get worse, tell your doctor. You may be asked for regular monitoring of kidney function, blood pressure, and electrolytes level while taking this medicine.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

Monitor your blood pressure regularly after starting treatment with ALDACTIDE 25MG/25MG TABLET, and notify your doctor if it does not lower down or if it becomes too low.
Your doctor may get regular tests done to monitor the level of urea and creatinine in your blood.
Avoid taking painkillers along with this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Lifestyle changes like a low-sodium diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine work better.
