It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed. How Aelxim-L Tablet works

Aelxim-L Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Linezolid and Saccharomyces boulardii. Cefixime is an antibiotic works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Linezolid is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Saccharomyces boulardii is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset due to antibiotic use.

What if you forget to take Aelxim-L Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Aelxim-L Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
