Acuvin Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. If it causes stomach upset, take it with food. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose or use it for longer than advised.

How Acuvin Tablet works

Acuvin Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tramadol and Paracetamol which relieve severe pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain.

Acuvin Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or slowed reaction time, particularly when you first start taking it. It is recommended to avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you are certain how it affects you.
Drink plenty of water and eat fiber-rich foods like fruits and vegetables to help prevent constipation, a common side effect of Acuvin Tablet.
Do not drink alcohol while taking Acuvin Tablet. Alcohol combined with this medicine can cause extreme drowsiness or dangerously slow your breathing.
