Product introduction

Aculum-P Tablet should be taken with or without food. It should be taken regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and needs. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea,  dizziness and diarrhoea. You should let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you or if they do not go away with time. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects by prescribing an alternative medicine or adjusting the dose.

Aculum-P Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver or have stomach ulcers. Also, tell your doctor about all the other medicines you take to ensure they are safe. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using Aculum-P Tablet.

Some of the conditions in which Aculum-P Tablet is used are rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

How Aculum-P Tablet works

Aculum-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. These medicines work by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling).

  • You have been prescribed this combination medicine to relieve pain and inflammation.
  • Take it with food to avoid getting an upset stomach.
  • Do not take Aculum-P Tablet with any other medicine containing paracetamol (drugs for pain, fever, cough, and cold) without first asking your doctor.
  • It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Aculum-P Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
  • If you have muscle pain, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy and take Aculum-P Tablet to relieve the pain.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers before taking this medicine.

Yes, using Aculum-P Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
The use of Aculum-P Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcers/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Yes, Aculum-P Tablet can be taken with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Aculum-P Tablet helps relieve pain, vitamin B-complex can help correct the deficiency that might be causing the underlying painful condition.
