Acota MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines used in the treatment of muscular pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). It also relaxes the muscles and provides relief from stiffness or spasm.

Product introduction

Acota MR Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and weakness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness.

Acota MR Tablet treats muscle pain by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly. It is advisable to continue taking Acota MR Tablet until your doctor advises you to stop.

How Acota MR Tablet works

Acota MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Aceclofenac, and Tizanidine. Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer) and Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause fever and pain respectively. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Acota MR Tablet is used for quick and effective relief of pain, muscle spasm, and inflammation caused by conditions such as lower back pain, neck pain, sprains, strains, injury-related pain, joint pain, post-surgical pain, or even severe headaches.
Individuals should not use Acota MR Tablet if they have severe heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious liver or kidney disease, ongoing gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, a history of asthma or allergic reactions to painkillers (NSAIDs), or if they are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine.
Acota MR Tablet may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, or lightheaded. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you. Get enough rest, and avoid important activities requiring alertness if you are feeling drowsy.
Long-term or repeated use of Acota MR Tablet should be done only under a doctor’s supervision, as it may affect your liver or kidneys. Chronic use may also increase the risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding. Regular monitoring and check-ups are important if you need ongoing pain relief.
The serious side effects of Acota MR Tablet include black or bloody stools, severe stomach pain, vomiting blood, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), persistent drowsiness, swelling, rash, trouble breathing, or confusion. Contact your doctor immediately. These may be signs of severe side effects requiring urgent attention.
