Aclopass TH8 Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in relieving muscular pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. This improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort.

Aclopass TH8 Tablet can be taken with or without food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and dryness in the mouth. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.

Altogether, it helps in easy movement. Aclopass TH8 Tablet can help you do your daily activities without any problem. It is advisable to continue taking Aclopass TH8 Tablet until your doctor advises you to stop.

How Aclopass TH Tablet works

Aclopass TH8 Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac, Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Aclopass TH8 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with alcohol.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE

Aclopass TH8 Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Aclopass TH8 Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE

Aclopass TH8 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Aclopass TH8 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Liver

UNSAFE

Aclopass TH8 Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.

What if you forget to take Aclopass TH Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Aclopass TH8 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello doctor, I am experiencing random discomfort just below the right ribcage(near about area attached in image). This arises sometime when I sit or had some meal or extensive exercise may be. While walking or standing it reduces to almost 90% or goes away unnoticeable (That's my observation) This random discomfort is from long time say 2years. I had my liver function test during that but all fine. I am confused is this a muscle cramps because it last for short period of time not more than half an hour or goes away unknowingly. Aclopass TH8 Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when the pain is relieved. However, Aclopass TH8 Tablet should be continued if advised by the doctor.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Aclopass TH8 Tablet?

The use of Aclopass TH8 Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Can Aclopass TH8 Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?

Yes, Aclopass TH8 Tablet can be taken with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Aclopass TH8 Tablet helps to relieve pain, vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.

Can the use of Aclopass TH8 Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Yes, the long-term use of Aclopass TH8 Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

Will Aclopass TH8 Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?

No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.

Can the use of Aclopass TH8 Tablet cause damage to liver?

Aclopass TH8 Tablet contains Paracetamol. These medicines are known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.

What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Aclopass TH8 Tablet?

Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
