How Scarlite Gel works
Scarlite Gel is a combination of three medicines. Allium Cepa is an herb extract that shows antibacterial action on the burnt wounds. It kills the microorganisms to prevent the wound from getting infected. Allantoin is a skin protectant. It promotes the production of collagen (protein) fibers for faster wound healing. It also provides moisture to the skin and helps to resolve scar marks. Heparin is an anticoagulant. However, it shows anti-inflammatory action when used in this combination. It helps to reduce symptoms of inflammation such as redness, pain, redness, burning sensation, etc. that occurs in the wounds. It also accelerates the healing process of the wounds resulting in smooth healed skin without scars or contractures (hard or tight scars).

Frequently asked questions
Scarlite Gel is used to treat burns and healed burn scars. It may also be used on scars from cuts, surgery, acne, and stretch marks to help soften, flatten, and improve their appearance over time.
Yes, Scarlite Gel is often started after the wound has closed and stitches are removed, when the skin surface is intact. Do not apply to open wounds or actively bleeding areas.
Many people use Scarlite Gel on old and raised (hypertrophic) or keloid‑prone scars to reduce thickness, redness, and itch. Results are gradual and need consistent use.
The exact time Scarlite Gel takes to improve skin is not known. However, some softening and itch relief may appear within a few weeks, but meaningful cosmetic changes usually take 8 to 12 weeks or longer with regular topical use.
Yes, but use a thin layer of Scarlite Gel and monitor for irritation. Skin on the face and skin that stretches over joints can be more sensitive.
Scarlite Gel is commonly used on healed burn scars and post‑acne marks to improve texture and color. Deep pitted acne scars may also need procedures like microneedling. Ask your dermatologist.
If your scar becomes redder or more raised while using Scarlite Gel, pause Scarlite Gel use and check with your doctor. Your doctor may adjust your treatment plan.
