Novanib T 5% Ointment

Novanib T 5% Ointment should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need; it will not clear your condition faster and may cause undesirable side effects.

This medicine is usually safe to use and does not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms while using the medicine, let your doctor know. They may suggest ways to minimize or treat the side effects.

It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have recently used another medicine that contains a steroid or had an allergic reaction to another medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using this medicine.

• Treatment of Atopic dermatitis

• Apply Novanib T 5% Ointment to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
• Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as the private parts or on broken or injured skin.
• Remember to wash your hands after applying Novanib T 5% Ointment, unless this is the area being treated.
• Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing.
• Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
• Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment in case of atopic dermatitis.
