Product introduction
MetoLAR 6.26mg/25mg/40mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It makes you lose excess water through urine, hence try to take it at day time or 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination at night. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset, headache, and dizziness are some common side effects of this medicine. Regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine. This medicine should be used along with lifestyle changes like a healthy diet, regular exercise and smoking cessation for best results. You are advised to drink plenty of fluids to overcome mouth dryness and extreme thirst.

- It may cause more frequent urination. Take it at least 4 hrs before bedtime to avoid waking up to urinate.
- It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- MetoLAR 6.26mg/25mg/40mg Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
- Â Do not stop taking MetoLAR 6.26mg/25mg/40mg Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor.
