Press the on/off button
The display will read 188.8°C/188.8°F
Release the power switch and the display will show L OF with OF flashing
Disinfect the probe with ethyl alcohol. Position the probe
Once the degree sign on the display has stopped flashing (usually within 30-45 seconds)
The correct temperature is indicated & beeper alarm rings for about 30 seconds
To avoid any influence from surrounding air, fold the arm over the chest, tightly covering the probe tip under the arm or put the probe tip under the tongue and close the mouth
Remove the thermometer carefully
Temperature may be read from the display window
The unit will automatically turn off in 6 to 7 minutes
The thermometer is suitable exclusively for the measurement of the body temperature
