Benzyl Nicotinate + Heparin is a combination of two medicines: Benzyl Nicotinate + Heparin1 and Benzyl Nicotinate + Heparin2. Benzyl Nicotinate + Heparin1 is a vasodilator and Benzyl Nicotinate + Heparin2 is an anticoagulant. Together, they work by widening the blood vessels and dissolving/ preventing the formation of blood clots. This increases blood flow to the affected area thereby relieving the associated symptoms.
Thromotas is a combination of two medicines: Heparin and Benzyl Nicotinate. This medicine is used for the treatment of Haematoma (bleeding under the skin).
Q. Can Thromotas be stopped when my symptoms are relieved?
Thromotas is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when the symptoms are relieved. However, Thromotas should be continued if the doctor has advised to do so.
