This medicine should also not be used if they have severe heart failure, current or repeated stomach/duodenal ulcers, bleeding, past serious reactions to aspirin/NSAIDs (e.g., wheezing, rash), severe liver or kidney failure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding unless your doctor decides it is essential.

Serious side effects of Setolac-P Tablet include chest pain, stroke symptoms, passing black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, yellow eyes/skin (liver injury), trouble peeing, very little urine (kidney failure), severe rash, skin peeling, swelling of face/lips/tongue, severe headache, and fever with stiff neck (possible aseptic meningitis). Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms.

Yes. Setolac-P Tablet can cause stomach or intestinal bleeding, ulcers, or holes at any time, with or without warning. If you notice blood in stool, black tarry stools, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds, stop the medicine and seek medical care immediately. This risk is higher with high doses or long-term use.

Setolac-P Tablet may be linked with a small increased risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) or stroke, especially with higher doses or longer use. People with heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or who smoke should discuss risks with their doctor, and avoid taking more than prescribed, or for longer than advised.
