Nitrodel

Nitrodel Tablet is a form of essential amino acid. When given as a therapy, it exerts a metabolic benefit on the body. Nitrodel Tablet is most commonly used as a nutrition therapy or dietary supplement in patients with chronic kidney failure. This medicine helps stop urea levels in the blood from rising too much by blocking the effects of certain amino acids that the body doesn't need, especially in people with kidney problems.

Most commonly, Nitrodel Tablet is used as a nutritional supplement in long-term kidney disease.

Nitrodel Tablet provides essential amino acids. It is mostly used in the prevention and treatment of damage due to faulty or deficient protein metabolism in chronic kidney disease. On the other hand, arginine alpha-ketoglutarate is a combination of the essential amino acids: arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid. Although both Nitrodel Tablet and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate are different, their uses are almost similar.

The usual advice for an adult is to take the Nitrodel Tablet during meals, as it helps in the proper absorption and usage of the amino acids. The Nitrodel Tablet must not be chewed. Nitrodel Tablet should be given along with dietary protein restriction in cases of kidney failure. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the kidney problem.
