Nactal Tablet is used to manage respiratory conditions associated with thick or excessive mucus, such as chronic bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough out and relieve congestion.

Individuals should avoid taking Nactal Tablet if they are allergic to acetylcysteine or ambroxol, have active peptic ulcer disease, or have severe liver or kidney impairment.

Before using Nactal Tablet, let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, asthma, liver or kidney problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use this medicine with caution if you have a history of allergic reactions.

Although they are rare, serious side effects of Nactal Tablet include severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, trouble breathing), bleeding, or symptoms of liver issues. Seek immediate medical attention if these symptoms occur.

Nactal Tablet may interact with certain antibiotics (like cephalosporins), activated charcoal, blood pressure medicines, and anticoagulants. Always inform your doctor about any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking.
