Formin Plus 500 Tablet SR is prescribed mainly for patients with diabetes who also have, or are at risk of, vitamin B12 deficiency-related nerve problems.

Individuals should not take Formin Plus 500 Tablet SR if they are allergic to metformin or methylcobalamin, have severe kidney disease, severe liver issues, or a history of lactic acidosis. It is contraindicated in people with acute heart failure, severe infection, or if you are dehydrated.

Although they are rare, serious side effects of Formin Plus 500 Tablet SR include lactic acidosis (rapid breathing, severe drowsiness, muscle pain, and weakness), allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), and severe loss of appetite.
