  • Eflite should be applied twice a day over the affected area. 
  • Before each application, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well. 
  • Maintain a gap of at least 8 hours between each application and avoid face washing for a period of 4 hours after application.
  • Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
  • Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 4 months of treatment.
  • Do not stop using the medicine without talking to your doctor as it can resume hair growth.

Q. Can Eflite 13.9% Cream be applied in children or adolescents?

No, Eflite 13.9% Cream is not recommended to be used in children and adolescents who are below 18 years of age. The safety and effectiveness of this medication has not been established in pediatric age group. Consult your doctor before starting the medication.

Q. Does Eflite 13.9% Cream cause hair loss on head?

Eflite 13.9% Cream is used for the treatment of excessive facial hair in females. It should be carefully used and should not be applied on hair over other parts of the body like scalp. It is important to consult your doctor before using the medicine and follow the instructions carefully.

Q. For how long do I need to take Eflite 13.9% Cream?

The use of Eflite 13.9% Cream will depend on the response of the patient to the medicine. It is to be applied twice daily with a gap of at least eight hours between the two applications. The effect of the medicine and improvement in the condition can be noticed within eight weeks of starting treatment. If no beneficial effects are noticed within four months of starting the medication, then inform your prescribing physician who will discontinue the medicine and suggest alternate treatment option.

Q. How should Eflite 13.9% Cream be applied on skin?

Eflite 13.9% Cream cream should be applied as a thin layer on the clean and dry, affected areas of the face. The cream should be rubbed properly into the skin such that no residual cream should remain after rub-in. Hands should be washed properly before and after the application of the medicine. Avoid cleaning or washing the face for the next four hours after application of the medicine. Consult your doctor for exact instructions for its use.

Q. I can feel mild stinging sensation while applying Eflite 13.9% Cream. Is it a normal thing?

Usually, it does not cause any burning or stinging sensation while its application, but it can be there if it is applied to a damaged or broken skin. Eflite 13.9% Cream should be applied on the intact skin only. Avoid contact of this medication with eyes or mucous membranes of nose or mouth. You should be cautious while applying this medicine if skin irritation or rashes develop, immediately contact the prescribing physician.
