How Clobetamos Products work
Clobetasol + Lactic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol + Lactic Acid1 and Clobetasol + Lactic Acid2 which treat eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol + Lactic Acid1 is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clobetasol + Lactic Acid2 is a keratolytic medicine. It breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol + Lactic Acid1 into the skin.

Before applying Clobetamos Gel, you should wash and gently dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer (just enough to cover the area). Rub in lightly (do not bandage or cover unless directed). Wash hands after (unless treating hands). Also, use 1-2 times daily (or as prescribed) and should avoid using Clobetamos Gel over face, groin, underarms, or broken skin, unless prescribed.
