How Betsalic Z Products work

Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide1, Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide2 and Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide3 which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide1 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide2 is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide1 into the skin. Betamethasone + Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide3 has astringent and antiseptic action.
