The Ultrasound Both Hip Joints is an imaging technique that produces pictures of the body's internal structures. This test is prescribed by the doctor to help diagnose unexplained pain, swelling, or infection. It is also helpful in diagnosing developmental dysplasia, which is the most common musculoskeletal problem in newborns which causes the hip to become dysplastic and dislocate.
