The MRI of dorsal spine is used to see middle part of spine to detect various disorders such as congential deformities of dorsal spine, disesaes of intervertebral discs, nerve compression, infections of spine & tumors of the spine. The physician can recommend this test if you have severe back pain from a very long period of time, severe pain around chest or post-surgery to record the changes.
