The NCCT Scan Lumbar Spine helps in producing the cross sectional images of various parts of the body. The scanning images move around your body and produce results on the monitor, which can further be reviewed by technologists.
Certain symptoms such as a herniated disc, infection, lower back pain, spin based birth defects, weakness in legs, spinal surgery preparation require a doctor to prescribe the NCCT Lumbar Spine Test. There are a few minute risks associated with the test but they are higher when the kidneys are damaged. To prepare for the surgery, you will need to get rid of any metal objects you wear and should avoid eating a couple of hours prior to the test.
