Know more about this test

A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) lumbar spine creates a picture of the lower back and its surrounding soft tissues. The lumbar region of the spine, more commonly known as the lower back, consists of five vertebrae labeled L1 through L5.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose severe back pain and birth defects (congenital) which affect the spine and to evaluate the level of injury of the lower spine and frequent lower back pain.
