What is Anti-Cardiolipin Antibody IgM+IgG?
Anticardiolipin Antibody test is done for multiple reasons, but primarily for detection of blood clots and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and also recurrent miscarriages. This test simply detects the presence of cardiolipins in the blood. Blood is aseptically collected and evaluated by using ELISA ( Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ) for results.
Why is Anti-Cardiolipin Antibody IgM+IgG done?
- 1.To detect Antiphospholipid syndrome and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. 2.To help in the diagnosis of recurrent miscarriages.
