Allergy, Individual Marker, Microorganism Aspergillus Fumigatus (Fungus)

Allergy, Individual Marker, Aspergillus Fumigatus test helps detect allergies against aspergillus fumigatus, the most common fungus in our environment. This test measures IgE antibodies in the blood against this fungus. This is a widely used test for diagnosis of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), asthma with fungal sensitisation, invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA), severe allergy with fungal sensitisation (SAFS), or chronic cavitating pulmonary aspergillosis (CCPA). Common fungal allergy symptoms include fever, cough with mucus or blood, difficulty breathing, etc. For prevention, avoid excessive dusty locations like construction sites. Individuals with weak immune systems or mould allergies should avoid activities like gardening. If exposure to airborne dust or mould is likely, consider wearing a face mask.
