Overview
What is 3D Scan Left Knee Joint?
A 3D scan of the left knee joint is a CT scan showing cross-section images of a certain area on the body. It can help your doctor diagnose a disease or even inspect an injury on the knee. A 3D scanner is going to circle your body and send over the image to the computer. The computer will then use the image to create detailed pictures. So, trained technicians and doctors can identify tendons, muscles, vessels, bones, and ligaments surrounding the knee.
At times, the dye used in the scan can lead to temporary kidney damage. So, you have to inform your doctor if you are already suffering from kidney problems. However, new dyes have come up that are less harmful to your kidneys.
