The Ultrasound Level I NT/NB Scan (For 11-14 Weeks Pregnancies - Twins) scan is performed during the 11th to 14th month of the pregnancy. NT is the sonographic appearance of a collection of fluid under the skin behind the fetal neck in the first-trimester of pregnancy.
This scan is performed to confirm the positioning of the fetus in the uterus and the heart rate of the fetus. As the fetus grows, this scan is advised to check the growth and position of the fetus are proper, the position of the placenta is at its right place and the amount of amniotic fluid is appropriate.
