What is CT Guided Biopsy With Processing?
The (Computed tomography) CT guided biopsy with processing is a specialized X-ray technique used to visualize your presence of the tumor overgrowth in the chest, abdomen or pelvis region. The suspected tumor undergo CT scan followed by tissue biopsy procedure. The biopsy technique involves insertion of the automated needle or syringe into the skin and the tissue is taken out for further examination. The whole test takes approx 1 hour of time duration.
