Selaglob 800mg Tablet is used to treat increased phosphate levels in the blood. इसका इस्तेमाल किडनी की गंभीर बीमारी के कारण डायलिसिस वाले मरीजों के लिए किया जाता है. It inhibits the absorption of phosphate from the intestine and lowers the phosphate levels in the blood.

Selaglob 800mg Tablet should be taken with food. इसे डॉक्टर की सलाह के अनुसार खुराक और अवधि में लें. Take it regularly and at a fixed time each day to get the maximum benefit of the medicine.

Selaglob 800mg Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, and diarrhea. You may also develop low levels of calcium, folic acid, and vitamins A, D, E, and K in your blood. अपने डॉक्टर द्वारा बताये गए आवश्यक सप्लीमेंट लें.

Q. Can I take ciprofloxacin while I am taking Selaglob 800mg Tablet

Ciprofloxacin may interfere with the working of Selaglob 800mg Tablet and therefore it should not be taken at the same time as Selaglob 800mg Tablet. However, if taken together then a gap of at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Selaglob 800mg Tablet should be maintained.

Continue taking Selaglob 800mg Tablet as long as recommended by your doctor. Selaglob 800mg Tablet lowers your dietary phosphate levels but does not cure your disease. Hence, you may have to take it lifelong, as stopping Selaglob 800mg Tablet may increase your phosphate levels.

Yes, serum phosphate levels should be monitored regularly while you are taking Selaglob 800mg Tablet. Also, the use of Selaglob 800mg Tablet may decrease the levels of vitamin D, A, E, K, and folic acid and hence the levels need to be monitored during the treatment.
