Phosphout 800 Tablet is used to treat increased phosphate levels in the blood. इसका इस्तेमाल किडनी की गंभीर बीमारी के कारण डायलिसिस वाले मरीजों के लिए किया जाता है. यह आंत से फॉस्फेट के अवशोषण को रोकता है और खून में फॉस्फेट के स्तर को कम करता है.

It helps control phosphate buildup, which supports healthy bones and prevents problems like bone pain, itching, and complications related to the heart and blood vessels.

Can I take ciprofloxacin while I am taking Phosphout 800 Tablet

Ciprofloxacin may interfere with the working of Phosphout 800 Tablet and therefore it should not be taken at the same time as Phosphout 800 Tablet. However, if taken together then a gap of at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Phosphout 800 Tablet should be maintained.

How long do I need to take Phosphout 800 Tablet

Continue taking Phosphout 800 Tablet as long as recommended by your doctor. Phosphout 800 Tablet lowers your dietary phosphate levels but does not cure your disease. Hence, you may have to take it lifelong, as stopping Phosphout 800 Tablet may increase your phosphate levels.

Do I need to have any tests while taking Phosphout 800 Tablet

Yes, serum phosphate levels should be monitored regularly while you are taking Phosphout 800 Tablet. Also, the use of Phosphout 800 Tablet may decrease the levels of vitamin D, A, E, K, and folic acid and hence the levels need to be monitored during the treatment.
