Midotab 2.5 Tablet is used to treat low blood pressure (hypotension). इसका इस्तेमाल उन मरीजों के लिए किया जाता है जिन्‍हें बैठे हुई या लेटी हुई अवस्‍था से अचानक खड़ा होने पर निम्न रक्तचाप (लो ब्लड प्रेशर) के कारण चक्कर आने का अनुभव होता है. इस दवा से रक्त वाहिकाएं सिकुड़ जाती हैं जिसके परिणामस्वरुप आपका ब्लड प्रेशर बढ़ जाता है.

Midotab 2.5 Tablet is not advised for patients having allergy to any component of the product, severe heart disease, unusually slow heart rate, high blood pressure, and conditions causing tightening of the arteries. Along with that, treatment with Midotab 2.5 Tablet should be avoided if the patient has enlarged prostate gland, urinary retention (when the bladder can’t empty properly), pheochromocytoma (tumour of the adrenal medulla), acute or severe kidney disease, overactive thyroid, poor vision as a result of diabetes, and narrow-angle glaucoma (elevated pressure in the eye).
