हीलोड्रेस ऑइंटमेंट तीन दवाओं का संयोजन होता है: पॉविडोन आयोडीन,टिनिडैज़ोल और सूक्रलफेट. पॉविडोन आयोडीन एक एंटीसेप्टिक है. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. टिनिडैज़ोल एक एंटीबायोटिक है. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. सुक्रालफेट प्रोटेक्टेंट है जो क्षतिग्रस्त टिशू के ऊपर परत बनाता है और उसे चोट से बचाकर घाव को जल्दी ठीक करता है.
