Ketoprofen is a compounded cream which can help manage mild to moderate pain or the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. Lidocaine works by restricting the nerves from sending pain signals to the brain. Capsaicin works by decreasing a certain natural substance in your body (substance P) that helps pass pain signals to the brain. Methyl salicylate works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm.
