When taken as prescribed, it helps reduce the risk of existing clots worsening and lowers the risk of recurrent clot formation, supporting safer long-term blood flow.

In rare cases, people who receive spinal or epidural anesthesia or undergo a spinal puncture while taking this medicine may develop a blood clot around the spine, which can cause serious complications. Always inform your doctor before any such procedure so that appropriate precautions can be taken.
