Ademetionine is used in the treatment of liver disease, cholestatic liver diseases, alcoholic fatty liver disease and Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It is used in liver condition associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis).

Ademetionine protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.
