How to use Ultracet Tablet
How Ultracet Tablet works
Dosage
The dose of Ultracet Tablet depends on the severity of your pain, your age, and your overall health. It is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain relief. However, your doctor will decide the right dose and duration of treatment for you.
Take Ultracet Tablet exactly as prescribed, and do not take more than the prescribed dose, as this may increase the risk of serious side effects. Use it for the shortest duration recommended by your doctor. If your pain is not controlled or gets worse, consult your doctor.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Ultracet Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Overdose
Taking too much of this medicine may cause pupil constriction, nausea or vomiting, a fast heartbeat, fainting, or loss of consciousness due to heart problems, seizures, or even coma. Breathing may become slow and difficult.
In case of suspected overdose, seek medical help immediately. Your doctor may aim to remove the medicine from the stomach and maintain breathing rate, heart rate, and blood pressure. Liver parameters may be evaluated to assess effects on the liver.
