High resistance in umbilical artery means that the blood is not flowing smoothly to the baby. Though it's not dangerous for the baby at this stage but you will need to get the follow up Doppler time to time as advised by your Dr. Uterine artery high resistance means that you can have high risk of developing high blood pressure or intrauterine growth restriction of the baby.
