Olmevac ACT 20mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet should be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Try to take it at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine until your doctor tells you not to. It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will make you urinate more so, it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed. How Olmevac ACT Tablet works
Olmevac ACT 20mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine and Chlorthalidone. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

What if you forget to take Olmevac ACT Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Olmevac ACT 20mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
