I'm suffering from pruritus which is caused by jaundice hep-A since one month.i consulted gastroentereologist and i'm using medicines - heptral,golbi150,sompraz20,atoz,atarax and choltron powder.my skin is light yellow in colour due to high bilirubin level.the main problem is it causes heavy frustration,depression,sleeplessness,weakness,tiredness,irritation.i didnt have a proper sleep since one month due to contiuos heavy skin irritation.it is not in control.doctor told irrition will occur till hep-A is cured.he told atarax and choltron powder should control itching.but no result.my bilirubin level is 40(today).sgpt readings are 8000 before one month and now they decreased to 63 and 93 which is good.but bilirubin level is increasing.he told that it will reach certain peak point and starts decreasing so dont worry. He gave elovera cream and daily i'm applying olive oil all over the body.they are giving very less relief.please suggest to control itching.waiting for reply.thank you.
