Hi, I am 5 months pregnant. This is my 1st baby through IVF. Dr. has prescribed me to take me iron tablet (Ferium xt ) of 100mg, but after taking this I feel heartburn problem. Can I take half of this tablet i.e 50 mg a day will be sufficient or not for me ?? Pls reply. Also I am taking folic acid of 6.5 mg daily. Is it sufficient or more than sufficient ? Please reply. You can take half tab. Take iron rich diet. Get your Hb repeated at regular interval. If you are able to maintain your Hb then continue at the same dose
